This natural elliptical leaf shaped necklace is truly a show stopper. It is made from sterling silver and perforated nickel silver. Perforation occurs when the metal is heated with a jewelers torch in such a way that it starts to absorb oxygen and blooms up - then randomly pops to create craters or divots in the piece. It gives the metal such an organic feel. The leaf shape is accentuated with a beautiful freshwater pearl. The pendant hangs from a handwoven silk neck cord.
